History
1974
The Company was established by Ahmet Sönmez under the name of Metin Ticaret to be engaged in the trade of sheet metal in a 100-sqm shop in Kayseri Old Industrial Zone.
1977
In addition to metal sheet trading, metal sheet cutting service was launched with a UHM metal sheet cutting bench from East Germany.
1989
Following the establishment of Kayseri Boru Profil Tic. A.S., trading of pipe profiles as well as metal sheets commenced.
1999
Both companies merged to form Kaymet and moved to their modern facilities over the 2000-sqm area in the Anbar quarter.
2007
Kaymet A.Ş. expanded its sales portfolio in Kayseri and across Turkey to Georgia with its initial export operations.
2007 - 2012
In 2007 – 2012, it expanded its Sheet Metal Cutting facility with its investments in Plasma-Laser-Press Bake-Guillotine Presses, all of which are equipped with CNC technology.
2009
After entering into a partnership with Metalist, it kicked off its services to the Marmara region in its 700-sqm warehouse and with its highly expert sales team and wide range of iron and steel products.
2010
Following its partnership with Baykent, the company started to produce camping stoves under the Ringg trademark for export purposes. In the meantime, the company expanded to over 40 export markets with the Ringg trademark and started to cooperate with major chain stores of various countries, especially in the European and USA markets.
2011
The new branch was opened in Kayseri Organize Sanayi Inecik region.
2012

2013
With investments in machinery that are suitable for precision cutting, a pipe profile cutting center with a monthly capacity of 1000 tons was established.
2017
In the free zone, the production of bunk beds and bedsteads was started with the Turkish Home trademark for export purposes.
2020
In order to serve the reputable customer portfolio, the Organized Industrial Zone branch was restructured and a manufacturing facility was established through investments in the chrome-plating facility, paint facility, welded manufacturing facility and wood processing facility.
2022
Trumpf Trulaser Tube 5000 Fiber and Trumpf Trulaser 3030, the highly equipped pipe-profile laser cutting machines of the world-famous Trumpf brand, have started service in our Kayseri production facility.
2022
Our company, which aims for carbon-free production, has started solar power investments.

The past, present and future of Kaymet Metal were shared with sector representatives at the Kaymet Next event held with the contributions of Trumpf on April 28-29-30.

The Chicago branch was opened with the aim of leading the world industry from Kayseri and being closer to global markets. From its high-tech production facility in Turkiye and its strategic location in Chicago, the company is moving forward with the vision of becoming a global player in the metalworking industry.

The foundations of Bedesten+, designed to meet the needs of the business world in Kayseri OSB, were laid as a project that brings together warehouse, office, production and showroom areas with the vision of offering more than just trade.

With the “Green Factory” concept in the environmentally sensitive and energy-efficient production model, production processes that respect nature by minimizing energy consumption were developed.
